INDIVIDUAL COUNSELING

Evaluations (1 ½ hours)
A comprehensive evaluation of past and current eating habits/behaviors, weight history, medical/psychiatric concerns, and any other pertinent information. Physical activity, household eating tendencies, and self care habits are also assessed in this meeting. Recommendations for follow up care are made with prudence, including referrals to other professionals, as appropriate.

Follow Ups
Follow up appointments are generally weekly and are offered in 30-45 minute time frames.

GROCERY STORE VISITS
These are educational for those making general eating habit changes, helpful to parents wanting to improve their family nutrition, and supportive for those who find grocery shopping stressful and anxiety provoking.

THERAPEUTIC MEAL EXPERIENCES
Restaurant experiences are particularly supportive and corrective for those working on recovery from an eating disorder.

WALK AND TALK
In this busy world, we can exercise and talk about nutrition, all in one! Particularly helpful for those with a busy schedule and /or a hard time with motivation for activity.

GROUP EDUCATION
Common audiences are classrooms of all ages and sex, parent groups, sororities, school faculty, clubs, social organizations.
